Brian Hunt

I grew up in the church. When I graduated from high school my spiritual roots were a mile wide and a millimeter deep. It didn't take but a few words from some professors to show that my faith was as strong as a wet napkin. Thank God (I literally thank God) that I met my wife. To see the grace, mercy and love of God in her served to rekindl those embers from my adolescence and teenage years. It began a journey where I had to decide for myself what I believed and why I believed it. I know that many people entering college, even Christian colleges and universities have similar backgrounds. They are living off of their parent's faith, so-to-speak. I hope that by graciously challenging them to think about what and why they believe, that they will take ownership of their faith.
