I was born and raised in Greece as a Greek Orthodox. I earned my PhD in Athens, Greece, and moved to the USA to continue my research career and become a professor. Although I was close to Jesus as a child, I drifted away during my studies, distracted by the "power" of science. Jesus returned to my life when God sent me my wife. As I began going back to church more regularly and praying, I was eventually baptized in the Holy Spirit. Since then, I have had no doubt that Jesus came to Earth as the Son of God and that he is my Savior. My background and scientific discipline in quantum chemistry have helped me see more clearly the truth of Jesus, and my vision is to convince scientists that Christianity and science are not opposing theories. My favorite part of the Bible is John chapter 1: "In the beginning was the Word" (Logos in Greek!)—and I believe the Bible holds the secrets that scientists and teachers need to know.
