My priorities are God, family, and students. I went to school non-stop until I earned my doctorate in marketing. When my first child was born, I stopped college teaching so that I could devote my full attention to taking care of my family. Many years later, when my three children were adults, God opened the door for me to re-enter the academic world with a faculty position at Texas A&M University. I love college teaching at this time in life because I'm able to focus on my students. God gave me the opportunity to move to Kentucky to be part of the faculty at Murray State University. Many people say it's not possible to start a career in your 50's, but with God all things are possible. Later, I moved to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC), where I am an Associate Professor of Marketing. After teaching on the main campus in Corpus Christi, I now teach at the RELLIS Campus, which is is located on the edge of Bryan/College Station. RELLIS features academic programs offered by TAMU-CC, e.g. marketing, and other Texas A&M System universities.
