I was not raised in a Christian home, nor did I ever go to church. During my first year of college, my friend took me to church, but I really did not understand the why of it. After my first year of college, I decided I was not ready for church, and decided to spend a few years on active duty in the Army. While waiting to leave home for the Army, I decided to watch a Billy Graham crusade where I was so affected by the message that I decided to call the number on the screen and entered a relationship Christ that time - that was Nov of 1982. About a year later, while stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, I became involved with the Navigator ministry through some friends in the Army and at that point, my faith took off. I did not seek Christ, but He sought me - for that I am eternally grateful.
