I'm originally from Southern Pines, North Carolina and the son of an awesome mother and retired Army veteran father. I am a retired veteran as well. Simply put, I started out in college but did not do very well after my first year. After that first year, I joined the Army and realized that this is where I was supposed to be. I made a couple of horrible decisions and found myself in a bad place until Jesus came along. I know that He has always been there but I never made Him significant. My life was changed as soon as I let Him have control over it. I was delivered from a couple of things and God blessed me with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. After the loss of a child, bouts of cancer with my wife, and a heart attack myself, we know that we are not only survivors but we are fighters for the faith.
