I was born and raised with 2 loving parents in a small town. I grew up in church and through high school did multiple mission trips across the US. I attended UNCW on scholarship and graduated in 2005 with my bachelors in nursing. I became an ER nurse and continue to work in the ER to this day. I am thankful God chose this path for me and has given me the chance to teach at UNCW. In my personal time, my husband and I work with our church youth group, care for our 2 dogs and chickens, and travel.
