Matt Parks

I was born and raised in both San Diego and the church. After studying the Bible and then Theology, I had the privilege of serving as a Youth Pastor for about 6 years in San Diego and SLO (San Luis Obispo). During my time as a youth pastor, I got to interact with so many middle school, high school, and college students who wrestled with their faith, in part or in total, and I could do nothing but empathize. I, so often, felt the same! That is life, we wrestle and grow in faith, and sometimes it's a long wrestling match. My current wrestling match is how to live out my faith and witness to my colleagues, friends, and students, and I am slowly learning how.
