Pamela Kelly

I am a Desert Shield/Desert Storm US Navy Veteran currently living out my dream, early, retirement plan. Because I loved to teach, I began planning early to retire from my career job in government and teach part -time. I pursued my doctorate after 40. I stayed the course. As a single mom of two daughters (young adults now) there were several challenges, but I am grateful for the family and friends' support system, orchestrated by the Lord, that encouraged me and would not let me quit. For about seven years I taught part-time while working full time. Since retirement, I moved back to my hometown to be closer to the beach and my parents to help them. I am embracing this opportunity to give back, although I could never repay them. They love me being nearby and I love being here. In my free time I volunteer for an outreach ministry, line dance with my mom, and fish, hunt & garden with my dad.

Nobody knows I

I was once a key witness in a murder case because I had unknowingly given the murderer a ride. I did not know that evil was riding with me but the Lord protected me through it all.
