My name is Stephanie Tucker, I was born in Wilmington, NC and I love living at the beach! I graduated in 2007 from UNC-Chapel Hill with BAs in Spanish and International Studies (Go Tar Heels!) and got married that same year. Three years later, my husband and I moved to Ecuador (by way of Costa Rica for language school) and worked there for two years as medical missionaries. While we were both believers in Jesus Christ prior to our move, God definitely worked on us and changed our lives through that experience. He amazed us with evidence of his work, he humbled us by showing us how small we were, he refined our marriage through sometimes difficult and painful situations, and above all, he loved us unconditionally. Our son, Noah, was born on October 1, 2012 and we moved back to Wilmington, NC in November of that year. The doors that God has opened since our return to the United States have led me to complete my Masters in Spanish at UNCW and my husband to get his MBA through Florida International University. We both have jobs that utilize our strengths and gifts, and we are overjoyed to be close to our families again. Our second son, Bodie, is due in June and we can’t wait to meet him. I absolutely LOVE teaching Spanish, working with students, and getting closer to Jesus, and I would love to connect with you!
