Born in Kansas City Missouri transplanted to Mississippi after my parents separated then divorced at the age of four. My life has been on a scale tipping back and forth since birth. I grew up in and out of church but never really made the connect. My life was full of anxiety, pressure, attempting to measuring up, seeking love and sadness. I can remember vividly laying in my bed February of 2016 - I had just completed my master's degree in nursing education December of 2015 and still did not feel like God was using me to my full potential. I begged God "take me and use me". He did just that! I have spent the last 8 years serving as faculty to associate and bachelor degree nursing students. Teaching is my passion. God has shown me many avenues to help grow students not only as caregivers but to open the pathway to acknowledge their ultimate Caregiver and Healer.
