Growing up in The Bahamas, I was always raised with the understanding of who God was but never really experienced a personal relationship with Him until I encouraged a professor who encouraged me, reminded me of my purpose and demonstrated God's love for me. During sophomore year after switching my major and on the brink of quitting, a former professor of mine reached out to me and reminded me of my purpose and I was encouraged to finish my studies. From that moment to this, God has always strategically placed individuals in my life to remind me of just how faithful He is. I hope to extend the same grace to my students.
